I was visiting friends and came across Nektar's kiosk at the outside shopping area. I purchased the Active Night Serum. I've used lighter facial oils before but it had been a while. I put off using the serum for a few days so I could ask my dermatologist about it at my appointment. She was pleased with the ingredients and definitely approved my using it (she also liked the logo!). The serum has a slight rose-ish scent. I was nervous about this because many scents start a migraine right up. However, the scent is short-lived and gone completely after I apply my barrier cream over it. The bottle will last me a while but when I run out I'll definitely reorder.
I got turned on to Nektar a couple of years ago. I loved that they were an entirely natural ingredient company that was woman owned. I first tried the Moisturizing Toner and the Rejuvenating Serum, and loved both. Recently I purchased the Active Night Serum and it is a game changer. I don’t know how they come up with the ingredient combinations, but these oils (serums) are game changers. They glide onto the skin - not like serums, but like oil. My face is hydrated and I wake up with moist skin. Seriously - I am 53 and I hear all the time how great my skin looks. Now that I have my day and night products - I no longer use any moisturizers or creams. I hope she comes out with a face wash and an exfoliant and I will never buy elsewhere again!
